Lit Critics: A different kind of book club

Lit critics love to read and share what they are reading. We do not all read the same book at the same time. Instead, members read a book of their choosing and give their review and recommendation at club meetings. At the end of the year, the club will generate their top 20 titles of the year.

While we do not require you to read certain books, we will encourage you to try out new genres.

Active members get first dibs on all new books, get to make requests/recommendations when new books are purchased for the media center, and do not receive late fees.

To qualify as an active member, meeting attendance and book reviews are necessary.

Book reviews can be completed in various ways - verbally at club meetings, online through a club blog or social media account, and other ideas that will be brainstormed and approved by club members.

Meetings: Frequency of meetings will be determined at the first club meeting by the club members.
